Tonight something very unexpected happen. I couldn’t be more content or happy.

You’re only young once, so stop trying to be so mature about everything.

Loosen up every once in awhile, be goofy, stop focusing so much on how others see you.

I’m so tired of everyone acting a certain way because they think others will like them more. It doesn’t work. Because eventually you will become dull to others due to your lack of personality.

I’ve been told that my big heart is a blessing, a gift, and something I should be grateful for.

Yes I am extremely grateful that I am forgiving, caring, sympathetic and loving to many people.

On the downside my heart can be my biggest weakness. 

I always seem to care for people who don’t care.

2012 did not start out quite like I planned, or even thought.

I’m ready to get this year going and actually go forward with all of the resolutions I have made.

I’m ready to let go of everything that brought me down in 2011.

Wait, what?

Why have I seen so many tv shows or commercials making comments about how lonely and terrible it is to be without a significant other around the holidays? 

This is the first holiday season where I have been without a love interest in four years and I am incredibly happy and content. 

So suck on that television people.

Even though…

it’s the most wonderful time of year for most people, there are some people suffering with loss and loneliness. 

The happiest time of the year can also be the most dreaded time.
